After 37 years of working in the health care field as a Registered Dietitian and Health Educator in Utah, Arizona, Tennessee and Nevada, Mary Kaye is now retired. Her favorite hobby is flying and she spends her summers as the director of a 6-week aviation program for high schoolers in Northern Indiana.
Mary Kaye has been involved in strengthening her communities in many ways including as a Founding Board Member of Memphis Merit Academy Charter School, an officer of her local Republican Club, a leader in her church, the director of a community nutrition program, a substitute teacher in Clark County School District, and as a volunteer for several political campaigns.
She graduated from Utah State University as the Valedictorian of her college, with a degree in Food Science and Nutrition, and has earned several post-graduate certificates for specialties in the health care field.
Mary Kaye and her husband, Bill (retired Navy), have seven children and twelve grandchildren.
