Every American desires affordable access to the best health care system in the world. The question is how to provide that care in the most cost effective, efficient manner, while still encouraging innovation and avoiding government rationing. Mark believes that a single-payer federally controlled healthcare system is not only unconstitutional, but would be wasteful, more expensive and would ultimately lead to federally mandated medical decisions and rationing of healthcare. Mark will oppose nationalizing healthcare. Americans should be free to choose the health insurance plan that is right for them. The American free-enterprise system should be unshackled from heavy-handed government regulations so that innovative Americans can develop health care solutions that compete on price and quality.
As a member of Congress, Mark will work with other like-minded law-makers to find solutions which lower the cost of health care for all Nevadans.
